From our own catalog of available land plots and our connections with local real estate professionals, we'll help you find the perfect lot for our dream home. We'll also confirm that your project is feasible by reviewing city building requirements, municipal easements, and more.
Custom Home Design
As a leading custom home builder in the Western suburbs of Chicago, we have on staff the area's foremost architects and interior designers. Together we'll be able to collaborate closely to create a custom home that perfectly fits your exact wants and needs, functionality, design, and budget.
Home Specifications
Our New Home Specialist will create a comprehensive, highly detailed Specifications Catalog that dictates every component of your project. From appliances, cabinetry, finishes, paint colors, flooring, bathroom fixtures, lighting, and more. This booklet will allow you to easily visualize your custom home project as it's being built.
Scheduling & Budget
Your New Home Specialist will acquire vendor and subcontractor bids based on your finalized Specifications Catalog and will then confirm the budget for your project. After we have received the project permits, we'll then send you a Building Schedule to keep the entire construction process on track.
Project Management
The team at Modern Haven Homes will help keep your project on track by using specialized software that dictates every step of your build. We'll also track your expenses and provide you detailed monthly billings, we'll also stay on top of lien release challenges if they occur along with any insurance issues.
Home Construction
Our team handles all of the aspects of the construction of your dream home. From being the point of contact for all vendors, subcontractors, and city inspectors so that we can quickly resolve issues if they arise. Your project will be overseen by our Construction Manager, who's job it is to be on site daily to ensure the work is being done to specifications using only the highest quality building materials.
Completed Construction
With our comprehensive project close-out process your completed custom home build will be fully inspected from top to bottom by an independent home inspector. Our owner will then join you, your New Home Specialist, and our Construction Manager for a detailed walk-through of your home to create a final "punch list". When you move-in, you'll receive a Close-Out Package that includes copies of contracts, invoices, city documents, manuals, and warranties for your project.
Continuous Care
Your relationship with Modern Haven Homes doesn't stop on your move-in day. Your home will be backed by a full coverage warranty for the first year after your home's completed construction, a two-year electrical and mechanical warranty and also a ten-year structural warranty for years two through 10.
